10 Molesworth Street

The site is located on the corner of Molesworth Street and South Frederick Street and forms part of the vista which terminates with Leinster House. The existing building on the site is outdated, has a high energy consumption and is no longer capable of providing of a sufficiently adequate working environment.

The proposal is to replace the existing building with a new, purpose-built office development designed to meet contemporary requirements and standards and to fit more sympathetically within the pattern and character of the surrounding buildings.

The new building has been carefully composed to respond sensitively to the rhythm, texture and variety of the historic context. The proposed scheme will create an economically viable and highly sustainable building which will improve the appearance and strengthen the civic nature of this important streetscape.
