Vantage

Vantage is a distinctive modern residential development at Central Park in south Dublin containing a total of 446 apartments. The scheme is comprised of a series of buildings arranged around three elevated landscaped courtyards which are accessed from a central pedestrian boulevard. The buildings range in height from eight to sixteen storeys with a 60m high tower at the apex making this one of Ireland’s tallest residential developments.

It contains a diverse range of dwelling types including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, spacious duplex units and luxurious penthouse residences at the upper floors. The elevated site is poised between the mountains and the sea and the apartments have been carefully designed to take maximum advantage of the spectacular panoramic views of the surroundings. The facade is extensively glazed with full height floor to ceiling windows and is clad with a carefully selected palate of bright, durable, high-quality materials including flame-textured natural granite, polished reconstituted stone and feature elements of rich red sandstone.

Every apartment has access to its own private external space in the form of generous balconies and terraces with glass balustrades to maximise light and views, The apartment interiors are finished to the highest design specifications with contemporary materials, fittings and appliances throughout. At podium level the development is enlivened by a mixture of shops, cafes, restaurants and offices which face onto the pedestrian boulevard and which provide animation and activity to the public domain throughout the day.


Secure underground car parking, bicycle parking and storage areas are provided at basement levels and the development has excellent transport links to the city and beyond with a dedicated LUAS stop and direct access to the M50. There is a wide range of on-site services and amenities including a residents' gym, lounge, children’s area, games room, cookery demo kitchen, cinema/screening room, workstations and on-site management office.

The project was developed in three phases. The first two phases, Vantage East and Vantage Central, were completed in 2010. The third phase, Vantage West, is now under construction and is due for completion in 2016. The project was built using state-of-the-art construction methods to improve both performance and appearance which included the use of pre-cast concrete 'sandwich-panel' cladding elements, off-site fabricated bathroom pods and innovative thermally broken structural solutions for the cantilevered balcony elements.
